I enjoyed Tom and Cindy's company and caught a ton of fish and found good gold there that year. There is a lot of gold left. It was my third year there and miss the camp, the friendly crew and the fishing- Salmon Fever!!!

However, since 1986, The Gold Prospectors Association of America (2010) has run a camp each summer near the mouth of the Cripple River; some of their prospecting and mining activity has been on the Cripple River and at least some gold has been produced each year since then.
